The Rickenbacker Bass Guitar model 4001 is one of the best bass guitars ever made.  It was produced from 1961 – 1981 and was considered to be a “deluxe model” bass guitar.  This is a long scale bass guitar.  This bass guitar puts out a lot of treble making a very unique sound for a bass guitar.  The Rickenbacker bass guitar is known for it’s clean crisp sound.

Musical Instruments Bass – The Gibson EBO Vintage Bass Guitar

The Gibson EBO bass guitar is a shorter scale bass with a smaller neck.  It was Gibson Guitars top selling bass guitar for many years.  Gibson manufactured this bass guitar from 1959 to 1979.   This bass guitar has a very powerful pickup.  The bass guitar pickup is closer to the neck giving the bass guitar a very powerful and unique sound. Gibson guitars named this bass guitar from the Gibson EB line.  The EB stands for Electric Bass.

Investing in a Vintage Guitar.

Vintage guitars make very sound investments if you know what to look for. The most expensive model guitars make for the best investments. Vintage guitars continually increase in value. The better the condition of the guitar the greater the value. Look for guitars that are in mint condition. The guitar needs to have all original parts. The guitar finish must be original. The guitar cannot have any replacement parts. Look at the frets, you don’t want to see wear. Make certain there are no cracks and that there have never been any repairs done to the guitar. These tips will help insure you make a sound investment when buying a vintage guitar.
